This gentle, clean and quick treatment is provided by an audiologist, using an adjustable controlled suction pump to gently vacuum any blockages from your ear.

Earwax removal by irrigation
Irrigation/Syringing
We irrigate your ears to gently remove any wax build up, using a Pro-Pulse irrigator that delivers just the right amount of water at the right temperature and pressure through an angled probe. This procedure is safe, comfortable and effective, but is not recommended if you have had an ear infection, ear surgery or a perforated ear drum.

Earwax removal by hooking
Manual Removal
If the wax in your ear is very dry, we will recommend removal via manual hooking. This process involves using an endoscope or operating loupes or lit curettes to help us see into your ear canal, and then the wax is hooked out using forceps or an array of manual hooks and tools. This is a very gentle, comfortable and practically silent procedure.
